Can you imagine a world without green space?
Without a field to play football on? Without nature?
Due to the rise of housing developments, we are losing our green land. Your green land.
The images on display show houses in the north east and surrounded area. Digital prints painted with acrylic paint mixed with soil; as a way of reclaiming the land that belonged to nature.

 

A series of 12 photographic prints of new houses built in the last 5 years have been painted with soil as a way of reclaiming the green belt land. Each Print has been tied to a block of wood, to make comment on how the housing developments have been built on green space.

Images will be displayed on March 11th 11am til 17th 5pm at Crowtree Road Square, Sunderland SR1 as part of ‘The Obsura Collective‘ Group.
