I found a magazine of 35mm slides that were images of a family holiday. My granddad must have bought them in a market without knowing the magazine was full. Of course this means I don’t know who these people are, or indeed were. I imagined how there house would have looked like and where they would have lived; to create a fictional space questioning the mystery behind what happens to our photos when we no longer have ownership of them.

In the instillation of the work, furniture from house clearances were used in an attempt to recreate what the family's home may have been like. The items used also have had a previous life in which the owner now no longer knows what they're being used for.
