A small queer sculpture I made, during my time with Baltic Artmix, using white card and electricians tape. The concept was that within the LGBTQIA+ community, we are all on different paths, different journeys. Some of which join with others, some that are unconventional. The idea of using a map references the journeys we have taken, and the ones we are on now.
The lines from the map continue below the sculpture, as I feel that although we have made progress within society, we have more paths to take, and more needs to be done. The canvas below is yours, for your journey; for you to set your own destination.
